Good news! My MS treatment was working. (It doesn’t for all patients)
Bad news! I found out because I went off of it for a few weeks and am now having a flare-up.
Nah, I didn’t need my dominant hand for anything anyways. Or my right leg.
I did not want to feel this way so soon again.
For those who watch HIMYM, Marshall had a great line in last night’s episode. He called it a schoolyard bully of a year.
Sooo stealing that to describe my own craptastic last few months.
And hey, his storyline made a happy turn, so maybe ours will, too.

When I heard Marshall say that, I also that “YES!!!! That’s exactly what this year has been!” Stupid 2011. Nevertheless, I’m hanging in there and determined to stand up to the bully. Or at least fake a stomach ache to get out of school for a few days. 🙂

Also, thank you for posting about your flare up. There’s a ton of talk about how the MS medications are “poison” or they “didn’t do anything”, but i’m also on Rebif and it’s working for me too. I can tell because I had flare ups about once every three months before (I just didn’t know what they were).
Nobody posts youtube videos about how CCSVI _didn’t_ work for them, although we’d all be better off if they did. And nobody posts blog post about how going of meds didn’t work for them, until now.
I think we can all learn from your experience, so thanks for sharing it.
