Family

You might have seen this video already. Only about 14 million and counting have.

It made me cry. Twice. I knew what it was about before I watched it, but what I wasn’t prepared for was the part where he talks about his mom having MS.

Gulp.

In my ideal world, we all have the freedom to be with those we love without judgment or laws that keep us from it. My “family” isn’t just blood-related. It includes friends I would do anything for (and they me) and a stepfather who has enriched our lives in so many ways.
